Report: Baylor Working On New Contract For Dave Aranda

Pete Thamel with Yahoo Sports is reporting that Baylor is working on a new contract for Dave Aranda to remain the head coach in Waco.

Aranda, who was the defensive coordinator at LSU from 2016-2019, has been mentioned as a candidate to replace Ed Orgeron in Baton Rouge. He is in his second season as head coach at Baylor.

He isn't staying. The only reason someone would "leak" that information is to incite offers. Baylor certainly isn't "scaring" away LSU and USC, both of whom have way more money than Baylor does.
