The Bengals had a chance to go down the field to tie or win the Super Bowl vs. the Rams on Sunday but Joe Burrow couldn't avoid the pass rush from Aaron Donald on 4th on 1.

This picture from that play on Sunday is going viral as it shows Ja'Marr Chase open on a go route as Jalen Ramsey is falling down. If Burrow had more time, we might have seen a different ending to the game...

Head coach’s shite playcalling, ridiculous subbing at halfback, and an entire line of human turnstiles are pretty hard for Burrow to overcome… pretty amazing they got that far.

Getting the ball with 2m left in the first half and sitting on it is not how you win superbowls. Head Coach is a moron

LSU will recover and survive this loss.

Exactly. Joe plays for neither LSU or my favorite NFL team. It's going to be ok.

I probably don’t sit my starting back averaging 5 YPC on the most crucial 3rd down yielding to Perine.

No screens all game. That terrible 2nd and 3rd down call. A deep ball when you haven't been able to block at all in the 2nd half. When you just need 10-15 more yards for a tie. Play calling and OL play lost the game. And it's a shame, the Defense played lights out.

Perine should have been pulled after his shite effort on 3rd.

Dude, agree

Agreed. Why on Earth was he running the ball on the most important run play of the game? I didn’t understand that. Even if he’s their “3rd down back”, you probably want your best back on the field in that particular scenario. IMO.

Maybe don't send your best weapon on a go route on 4th and 1 with under a minute left in the Super Bowl? Should've ran it on 2nd and then tried a pick play on 4th.

If that O-line was top 27 in the league they would have won.

I know Burrow likes being in his home state. Unless he wants a short career like Andrew Luck, he needs to stand up to the owners and demand an offensive line. If they won’t, get out of there.

quote:

Dalton’s advice for his replacement was simple. “Just learn everything as quickly as you can, that’s the best piece of advice,” Dalton said. “And worry about what you can control.” The Burrow talk didn’t end with the advice. Dalton detailed what the past few months have been like heading into the draft and shared his congratulations for the Heisman Trophy winner from LSU. “I knew they were going to take Joe. Regardless whether I was on the team or not, I would have reached out,” Dalton said. “He had a great college career and he went No. 1 and I just wanted to give him my congratulations on him getting drafted where he did. And tell him he’s going to a good team.”
I hope Andy told him to demand a better offensive line.

Chase made Ramsey look very sub-standard all game.

Agreed, Ramsey knew he had his hands full! Ramsey looked nervous, not his usual swag.

All meat and no potatoes. That o line needs an overhaul. Can't run or pass block against better d lines.

They ran the ball well except for that last 3rd down. Mixon should've been in the game not perine.

Saw that Cinn. had $60 million in cap space. They need to spend every penny on OL and a decent corner. They may not draft high enough to be of any help.
