Doesn't help but this team wasn't going to win anything regardless. 12-1 and unranked tells you all you need to know about who they've been beating and how the voters see them.

I'll be off from Christmas Eve through the end of the year. In all honesty though, I felt like I haven't done anything since November.

So the short story is that I had a stem cell transplant for relapsed leukemia in 2015. I developed a common side effect of the stem cell transplant where my new immune system attacks my body. It affected multiple organs but only the eyes and the lungs long term. For 8 years, my lung function was less than 50% of what it should be for my age and got to an all time low of the upper teens just before my lung transplant.

There are always risks in getting organs transplanted. My lung donor had a history of drug use, but when you are on death's doorstep, you often have to make peace with the risks. I didn't even think twice about it when the lungs were offered though. We knew it was the right time.

I'm going to press "X" to doubt. They might have been able to go anywhere in the SEC on a full ride but not every college in the country. If they could've gone to an Ivy League on a full ride and they chose LSU, that is quite the blunder, and I personally feel like the Ivy League is overrated in some respects. You have to pay living expenses no matter where they go the tuition is the real bruiser.
