Any words/phrases driving you nuts as of late?

When the wind blows to the south I can smell Bogalusa. That damned paper mill!
Best thing that my sponsor did for me when I quit drinking was to just be an ear to talk to. That's probably what he needs more than anything - my sponsor sat me in a waffle house booth and told me to just start talking. I'm 7.5 years sober now. I know you're not his sponsor but being an ear helps a lot.

quote:The last traffic ticket I got was in 2006 for a right on red in Hammond at Linden onto Thomas. Lamest ticket ever - there was absolutely nobody coming and a lardass Hammond cop came flying from four blocks away like I was robbing a bank.
No cops will stop you.
Smash them into itty bitty pieces.

Its all rainbows and happy times until an 18 wheeler needs to merge over.
The mental instability of a large percentage of white women is an interesting case study. Is it the birth control pills being pushed on them at a young age that has turned them into overly emotional lunatics?
Dutch Bros was a PNW brand just like Starbucks for a while. They went public and expanded like wildfire because Americans like consuming 1,000 calorie milkshakes for breakfast disguised as "coffee". Same goes for 7 Brew which I believe is from Arkansas. Scooters coffee is starting to pop up outside of the plains as well.
quote:Why in the hell are we importing these people into North America without restraint? I truly do not understand why the general public buried their heads in the sand while corporate America and the federal government handed the keys to nearly half of the trucking industry over to these third world cockroaches that literally shite in the parking lots and dump their trash on top of it. They are disgusting human beings.
Anyone who’s ever spent time around Indian people knows exactly why they’re one of the worst, dirtiest countries on earth and it ain’t because of a bunch of 110 year old British guys

quote:He ans Bryce were the first two mega contract signings a decade ago - Bryce went to a winner while Trout stayed with the loser. I have zero sympathy for Trout because had he actually tested the water for free agency instead of closing to stay comfortable in Anaheim he would have been offered big money from all of the contenders. Instead he chose to be the big fish at the bottom of the tank where no other fish want to go swim.
Why has he never agreed to a trade.

I likely never would have made it through my cancer fight if I had never quit drinking - i was that badly hooked on booze in my 30s. Truly took some divine intervention for me to have been able to wake up that Ash Wednesday in 2019 and look for help.

Driving an average of 500 miles every day in this country, some places will wear you out.
I found a really cool one next to the Love's truck stop in Pocatello ID. Ive loaded up on fun stuff there several times through the years - mre's, tactical gear, etc.

Now we wait for the $500m contract thats deferred to 2045. Enjoy the next two months of baseball because it may be the last we see for a very long time.
I dont think Crane is going to let Brown do much of anything this year. Hold the cards, survive the strike/lock out, then reset in spring 28.

Not soon enough.
I know yall want to bash truckers at every chance, but people have become way too comfortable with changing multiple lanes at exits because theyre driving distracted. It would not surprise me if someone hit the trucks steer tires and caused him to lose control.
Just today I had two very close calls with people exiting from the middle lane across the nose of my truck to get to a ramp. Its beyond absurd.

WWE is absolute brainrot. Blows my mind that there are actually grown, middle aged men who devote so much energy and emotion to watching what’s basically a staged circus show.

I didn't read all that but the Notre Dame Quittin' Irish need to be left out of the next 10 playoffs as a penalty for skipping the Pop Tarts Bowl.
