re: Shreveport starts preliminary work on Loop #3

quote:...if only theyd maintain what they already have it'd be better. That section of 3132 from 49 to 20 in the SE corner is absolutely dogshit. I hated driving that stretchstretch when they had 20 closed to trucks.
Shreveport has the best road system anywhere in the state and it’s not even close.
Been dumping 15-20% of my check into savings for quite a while. I will be 100% comfortable in retirement. Im in my mid 40s and well into the six figures saved already.
Dont be against data centers if you're rooting for self driving 18 wheelers. The amount of real time data that will be needed to process everything thats happening on the road will be gigantic for over 2 million trucks on the road.
Or we can just raise hiring standards and pay to what it was 20 years ago and quit recruiting trash out of the ghettos, trailer parks, and 3rd world countries.

Kulwicki, Davey, Dale, and now Kyle since I started watching nascar as a kid. Each death hits hard.

Ill post it here too because we watched Brad and Kyle fight with each other for the last 20 years - "Tonight, I feel like the coyote with no more roadrunner to chase."

If tweet fails to load, click here.MAGA is dead. Trump will be out campaigning for Lindsey Graham next while driving up more debt by sending billions upon billions overseas to appease his Isreali masters. Totally owning the libs, somehow.
quote:New stadium is being built directly next door to the current stadium. The city forced out the downtown TA truck srop for the property- which is a shame because I spent a few nights there over the years and took cab rides all over town to go to concerts and such. Now the closest truck stop is the Loves on Trinity in the middle of the hood. No thanks.
Are they getting a new stadium or is it "just their turn'?

He'll pop back up in a couple of years to laugh at the Republicans campaigning on reducing the debt after they get steamrolled later this year and in 2028.

That retard has gotten less done with control of congress than Paul Ryan did and that was a pretty low bar he set for the role of Speaker.
This is an instance where you've got to watch who is making the big campaign donations because she will be their puppet.
Getting black flagged for not meeting minimum speed when she didnt have any issues with the truck is certainly something.

quote:Yes. And the rebuild has to start with firing Dana, then dismantling this team for as many prospects as possible - even Yordon. Rip the bandaid off because not only are they a terrible team in Houston, their farm is a barren wasteland as well.
The good ole days really ARE behind us, aren't they?

re: Will Las Vegas become a ghost town in the next 25 years?

I went a few years ago and my jaw dropped at the prices of EVERYTHING out there now. Just a room on a Tuesday night with nothing special going on was over $330 after all the stupid fees and taxes. I haven't gone back even though ive driven through there several times. Used to be a fun place for truck drivers to stay and get out of the truck but its all gone now. The Wild West truck stop a block off the strip is gone, all of the cab services out there are insanely expensive to get to/from the remaining truck stops.
Interstate 80s casinos are still fun, especially in West Wendover.
