I posted in this thread twice, and now both posts have been deleted. This place is a complete joke.

I'm in favor of retiring number 9.

Joe is as gay as a 2 dollar bill. He was awesome to watch though. The first time I saw a pic of him when he transferred to lsu I told my wife he’s gay for sure.

Is anybody curious why LSU changed their stance on nobody wearing 5 again? Or was this just another piss poor decision by BK?

There are only so many numbers, exactly 0-99, that can be used. Maybe we will have to go to 5.5 or 9.5 ??? LOL

Hes saying basically "who the frick has time to care about this, I've never given it a second thought"
Jayden is trying to put himself in a qb conversation with JB. Thats laughable

Do away with retiring numbers, just the jersey & let's stop doing this stupid 18 & 7 crap while we're at it too. There are more important things.

The frick is wrong with these pussies. What if we have 10 great players. We should never use their # again? So 10 out of 99 #s would be off limits? fricking stupid. Jayden doesn't win shite without his line, his oc, his receivers, etc. Should we retire everything associated with his success. This is pure selfish narcissistic myopic behavior, by a moron

There are those who are legends and those who want to be. I am pretty sure where JD falls.

Ditch the green cap, Joe. You're not a caddie.

JB would probably be all for it if a top player/recruit wanted to wear his number 9.
For whatever reason, numbers like 1, 3, 5 and 7 are extremely popular and 9 not near as likely.

WOULD like to know who at LSU would tell a player, like Burrow or Daniels , they wouldn’t use their number again. Were they just trying to stroke their egos ? Or were they just saying it in jest ?

It seems like every player would know that nobody would have the authority at Lsu to say that to them as they know, coaches, athletic directors, board of supervisors, and governors all come and go

Joe is the definition of what a retired number is at solid power 5 program. I think a NC needs to be a part of the definition and 5K+ yards passing in a season, the cherry on top. AND you don't have to sue for it.

Don't sound like he cares

Unretire Cannon’s number and make a policy that no numbers will be retired. LSU has too many great players in history and in the future.

I wonder who "they" is? Both guys have said "they" told me this or that. Who "they" is matters.
