Former LSU wide receiver Jalen Brown is transferring to Arkansas after spending last season at Florida State.

Brown, a former five-star recruit from Miami, Fla. (Gulliver Prep), played in three games during his freshman season at LSU in 2023 but did not record a catch.

He transferred to Florida State and caught eight passes for 75 yards last season.

I never imagined college football would get this out of hand.

This is what happens when a bunch of bleeding hearts, that probably don’t even like college football, think something that has been awesome for 150 years needs changing. Nothing ever kept these kids from not accepting a scholarship and going out into the work force. Nobody forced them to accept a full ride. No, they wanted their cake and to eat it too and guess what? They got it.

Im more happy that he left LSU than anything. In the past we would have been stuck with him

It’s not like these mercenaries don’t change each year. College athletics like we knew it is over.

I really wish they would stop using the label of "former LSU player" when talking about players that haven't played at LSU in over a year.

Watch the clip of the Duke pick 6 last year against FSU. No effort by Brown to make the tackle, not sure why Arky offered. Huge bust by the recruiting services having this guy a 5 star.

He was briefly a 5* before his Sr season. He was a 4* in every service by signing day.

Arkansas will be a nice home for him, if he doesn't leave after one year. Just big enough to get him some notoriety, but just small enough to where he wont have to compete to keep his starting role.

The player rental portal strikes again. So fascinating to follow and be part of the rich and storied history of the game. The SEC - it just means I get paid more.

0 catches, to 8 catches...to may 12 catches? Just wow.
Quitter, loser, and exactly what's wrong with college.

If he has a strong year, he'll just trade up. Broken system.

If the the NIL is good for anything it tells you who’s just trying to get paid and who actually wants to play ball.

Evidently anytime this site's algorithm picks up the 3 letters (LSU) the story is automatically put over here as a "story". ....relevant or not
