Former LSU QB Matt Flynn: "Jimbo Fisher At Texas A&M Scares Me"

Former LSU quarterback Matt Flynn was on ESPN's 104.5 FM in Baton Rouge last week and talked about his former offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher who is now the head coach at Texas A&M.

Flynn explained that Fisher's recruiting abilities concerns him as an LSU fan,

"Jimbo at Texas A&M scares me. He’s in Texas, where he can get all the talent he wants."

“He’s going to beat UT at recruiting. And he’s close to Louisiana. He can dip in,” Flynn said. “So this is a big season for him. It’s a big season for LSU, as far as record goes, to hopefully not allow him to have that much success when he dips here in Louisiana. But yeah, Jimbo worries me a lot as a LSU fan. He’s a good coach and a good recruiter.”

He’s won a national title against an sec team, he’s been to the playoff, has coached multiple QBs that have been drafted in the first round including two no.1overall picks. You’re damn right Jimbo Fisher is overrated!! Yes he won a National championship but what type of consistency did he have at Florida State? Dabo on the other hand has not only won a title but has built consistency in his program at Clemson

Jimbo will be the next Aggie joke but the joke will be on A&M for 10 years. Right now Jimbo is the new kid and is being overblown but as soon as he takes a curb stomping the Aggies will be forced to see reality. Jimbo had presided over the decline of Florida State in a weak division in a weak conference. What was Jimbo denied at Florida State which jeld him back? Nothing.
