Former LSU quaterback AJ Swan announced Friday that he has committed to Appalachian State.

Swann spent the past season with the Tigers after transferring from Vanderbilt. He appeared in two games, completing two passes for 10 yards.


During the winter break, several other former players announced their transfer destinations. Here's the rundown:

WR Shelton Sampson (UL-Lafayette)
DB Jyaire Brown (UCF)
K Nathan Dibert (Eastern Michigan)
QB AJ Swann (Appalachian State)
DT Jay’viar Suggs (Wisconsin)

They wouldn't process Sampson. He's only going to be a junior and he has size and athleticism. Some guys don't adjust right away but you still lean on your previous evaluations
