This was back in the 80s, the commercial Ben Hogan was in repping his irons with him walking down a fairway. He hit a shot, and even though he was old, he still seemed to have his swing. I bought a set of his irons because of the ad.

I am seriously waiting for my Delta gas bill to skyrocket. With Entergy, my gas ran between $15 and $20. With Delta, it’s between $15 and $20.

Coach Campbell - Lafayette Elementary School - early 60s - the man was about 6’7” - he walked around school with a custom made paddle that was about 18” long. I never got paddled but when he hit a kid you could hear it all over school. It had holes in it and a kid’s butt looked like it was hit with buckshot !

The problem is that the HOAs contract out the management to outside people and they live to write letters to homeowners.
We have relatives who lived in south Houston whose home got bashed by a hurricane about 15 years ago. Less than a week after, they got a letter saying they needed to get their fence fixed… the damn power hadn’t even been restored.

Right - I was senior in college making 50 bucks a week. I’m all for fracturing on inflation but no way that would be half of 520K today.
