Despite all of the publicity, these day care centers are popping up everywhere. There’s one on O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge that looks sketchy…1 car in the parking lot and never see any kids.

Anyone know how the Shenandoah golf course was? When I was a young, I used to live near the area. Used to play alot of basketball at Shenandoah middle school but never played golf back then

I loved Shenandoah CC and was a member for many years. A couple of things lead to its downfall.
1. Very few of the residents of Shenandoah subdivision actually were members. If I remember correctly, there were over 200 homes on the course but less than 10% were members.
2. Toward the end, the owner was taking a lot of cash out of the business. It was his course so he was entitled to do what he wanted, but it couldn’t be sustained.
It was a nice course to play and I miss it.
Watching a beach wedding in Destin. After the ceremony, the groom and the bride’s brother squared up. They were pulled off of each other but it was interesting to see.

This staff needs to look at themselves before they look at the team. I happened to meet a Mississippi State fan this morning and his first comment was that Johnson clearly lost this locker room early in the year and never got it back. Take that for what it’s worth but it makes as much sense as anything else I’ve heard.

It was obvious early on that “ something was not right” with the team. Maybe it will come out for those of us who are curious. For the program, I certainly hope it gets corrected.
Denzel Washington AIN’T playing the role of Adolf Hitler in a movie !
Yea, but try not to spot your opponent 6 runs in the 1st !!

Somebody needs to cue the video of the guy in the bucket truck getting hit by a truck on Sherwood Forest from a few years ago.
It seems my first wife was in one but I never have been.

They tried this combo the last time they were here and it was underwhelming. Besides, MLB will still be in season on September 7th.

Played there this week and its not fit for that in the least.

While this week’s rain may set things back a bit, SM will be in good shape for the upcoming qualifier.
I laughed when someone described Louisiana as a graveyard for golf courses… I didn’t see it mentioned but after Katrina, Bedico Creek Golf Course was built on the Northshore and never opened !!!!!

Even Al Gore’s wife Tipper, who is nuttier than a fruit cake herself, knew he was nuts and kicked him to the curb.

I didn’t see:
Gonzales Country Club
West Side Golf Course (Brusly)
We walked right past him…the blonde was nice and Coach O looked cut. Glad he’s enjoying life.

Cam2 in Amite.

No - unless something catastrophic happened within the last few months. Cam2 was in good shape last I played it around Thanksgiving. In fact, our group was talking about our trip recently as we lost a member about 2 weeks after we played it, so it was our last round with him.
We went about 15 years ago during the downturn. We got a nice room at the Bellagio for $99.00/night. We saw a couple of good shows for reasonable prices… ditto for food. We don’t gamble so hanging out at the pool was great.
I’m old enough to remember friend’s parents going and seeing the great shows back in the 60s. Those times are long gone.
Them ULL folks will be wanting to change their name again… and maybe the mascot as well.
