I agree it would effectively end the series but you have to ask; if KAT stepped on the pad and reinjured that meniscus, would the penalty have been more severe? I think the answer is yes. They let him get away with it cause no one got hurt ...

So Jamal Murray got fined $100k for throwing the heating pad on the floor. Kind of a crazy precedent to set. Just showed the live bench points in the beginning of the 4th and Pacers were at 42 compared to 3 from Knicks. Knicks have no bench at all, just Brunson and a few scrappy 3 and D wings. I don’t think Giannis could do what Brunson is doing because of his reliance of scoring around the rim. Brunson is just better than Shai. Honestly AD does pick up a ton of little injuries, but since he’s gone to LA it’s crazy, he plays through all of them. A couple of years ago he had that foot injury and came back in record time.
I do enjoy seeing him fail though, if he was on the Pels i couldn’t enjoy that anymore...
