He needs to. He should go to a G5 school.

We've now stolen the ND coach when they were on the verge of a potential playoff and now stolen Ole Miss's coach when they were going to the playoff.

We are the villain in the mainstream audience's eyes.

Embrace it and support the program. Everything else is, as Saban would say, rat poison.
He misspeaks sometimes, but the listener can pick that up and know when it's accidental.

Yes, he does have inside sources. People crap on him because he's had hot takes in the past and can get stubborn on it. He's dialed it back some recently since lousianasports.net went live so he's more cautious at saying things are absolute.

The problem is we all want someone with absolute 100% accurate information from the inside, but shite talk everyone who posts "inside info".

If you are looking to get a good idea of what's going on with LSU, Moscona's podcast will keep you updated. It's designed to be a snapshot of what happened recently. If you want more detail, you will have to listen to other podcasts/articles and put the picture together for yourself.
They would make Saban say no, then Lanning. After that they could make a run at Lane or Sark. I think Sark would be preferred by their money people.

One last name I think would get some play would be the one they always thought would take over after Saban, Dabo Swinney.

Lavalais and Williams caused that OL to back pedal and step on him
If Reed doesn't shite the bed for a half, aTm should win comfortably. If he drops a S.Car type half, then aTm will be one and done.
Florida State

In the famous words of Jontre Kirkland after the 2021 Texas Bowl, "If we got 11, we playing."
It's not a wow hire. Pittman wasn't either, but I think people thought it was a solid hire.

We play them every year, so personally, I hope he stinks it up and they stay at the bottom of the league :)

What do we stand to gain by this and we are only helping a conference rival who despises us and would not do this if tables were reversed?

Because our new head coach wants to do it. Our leadership and our coach believe it's the right thing to do.

What’s to keep any of these guys from staying at OM?

OM would have to pay LSU 300% of the salary of the coach that stayed. Plus the coaches that came with Lane have been with him for years. The odds of them bailing are really slim.

Helping OM in the playoffs does not help LSU one bit.

No, it doesn't, but it isn't hurting us right now and as mentioned before it's something our new head coach wants to do.

A.C.C.U.R.A.C.Y.

It's kinda important.
Fournette literally committed to “the boot baby, LSU”

Why is every national media member except Saban saying “Lane left his team! What a horrible human! The poor players!!”

All of the ones that are former coaches understand the move. The ones that are former players have trouble with choosing to leave the program.

TaRon Francis

I had hope that when Frank said he would get more playing time that we would see him, but we did not. Maybe we will get a glimpse in the bowl game.

Every so often, LSU gets a WR that is highly thought of, but gets slightly forgotten in their freshman year and then all of a sudden they burst onto the scene later on. We've seen it with Juice (although his special teams play his freshman year was outstanding), Chase, Nabers, and BTJ recently. I think Francis is cut from that cloth and I really hope he finds a spot in Lane's offense.
I judge S&C by how our lines play against the opposition. When we need to be blow off the line and get a yard or two, can we do that against the other team's DL? LSU under Kelly was a resounding no.

Oregon vs. UGA in the NCG

Maybe this is the year Oregon gets it done so Uncle Phil can rest easy before he passes.
Complete apathy toward Ole Miss and Tulane.

We got our coach hired, our staff is filling out, and we kept all our commitments in our class which has the highest rating per player in the country. We also have a coach who has proven he can go into the portal and bring in talent, so there's a lot of optimism on that end too once we get to January.

shite is good at LSU right now.

Bama always the standard Lsu hopes to reach.

Not anymore. Bama has 7 losses in the last 2 years under DeBoer and odds are they will get to 8.
Has there ever been a more underwhelming Heisman race?

With the extra game, Mendoza has thrown for less than 3,000 yds.

I don't care. If Lane sucks here in the next 2 years, we'll want him gone. If he is rolling and getting close to a title, then we can see what happens.

There's no point pissing on the positive going on right now to worry about the gumps 2 years from now.
