Brian Kelly joined the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday and was asked about injured wide receiver Chris Hilton.

Kelly made it clear that Hilton is doing everything possible to return to the field, but his unusual injury has taken longer to heal.

While Kelly's explanation was lengthy, he did not say whether or not Hilton would play this year.

"He's put in the time and has the want-to to be out there."

Sounds a little like Les.

Les Miles has lost control of Brian Kelly's vocabulary.

I don't even factor him anymore. Hopes he gets well, but we got guys. Anderson has been lights out, Daniel's is super consistent, and Lacy is good.

Lisfranc. Has to be. I’ll be shocked if he plays this year to be honest.

Has to be a Lisfranc. Slow as shiy healing g injury because the foot doesn’t get as much blood circulation as the rest of the body.

Sounds like Hilton has hopes to return and they may be trying to support hope to keep him encouraged.

Lisfranc injury, usually, means done for the year. Any return is wishful thinking. If my kid had one, I would not let them return this season.

We need to stop with this shite. He's done for the year quit with the damn lies it's bull shite.

I would say transfer next year, but it's his body not his skills. CJ Daniels, Aaron Anderson, and Zavion Thomas all can come back next year. With Billiot, Parker, Mr. 10.19 Watkins, and the 3 we have coming in, he's basically been recruited over.
