South Carolina edge rusher Jaylen Brown announced his commitment to LSU on Thursday.

Brown, a 6-5, 265-pound defender from Madison, Ala., began his college career at Missouri. He played in five games during his true freshman season in 2024, registering two tackles.

He transferred to South Carolina last offseason but suffered a right knee injury during spring practice and sat out the entire 2025 season while rehabbing the injury.

He looks like a character from "The Wire". He'll scare the crap out of any opposition he faces.

Not exactly a proven talent. I hope he works out and was easy on the budget. God knew LSU needed depth too, apparently.

What's that bring our bill to? Just like we know what coaches are being paid, we need to know what these guys are being paid...at a public school.

Go find the QB and bring him down. Or better yet DESTROY him when you put a form tackle on him. Put all your weight on him as he goes down. Go Jaylen, Go Tigers.

Oh sure, cost them 15 yards and automatic 1st down. Sounds like a great idea.

There's no roughing the passer penalty on a form tackle while the QB has the ball. Its just a sack.

Are you trusting the ref to get that right? LMAO

That dude looks scary. Thank he didn't play against LSU last season because Garrett Nussmeier would have been sacked just by looking at him.

This seems like a solid addition with development potential. Super thankful that God lead him to us.

So God led him to back out of his commitment. Twice! Must have been the god of $$.

God of opportunity - he presents them and you either snooze or lose.
