Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports that Tennessee is still pushing to stay in the mix for Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, who is trending to sign with LSU.

Leavitt visited LSU last week, followed by a trip to Tennessee, before heading to Miami.

Over the weekend, it is believed that Lane Kiffin flew to Knoxville to see Leavitt again before his trip to Miami.

ESPN's Pete Thamel reported Monday that Leavitt was expected to sign with LSU, but there has been no official confirmation from LSU at this time.

If both parties agreed in principal to do the deal, Leavitt should sign the agreement and tell Tennessee that he’s signing to deal he agreed to with LSU. He also should tell his agent to respect his decision. Any continued delay in this process is just bullshite!
