Liberty wide receiver CJ Daniels is expected to visit LSU this weekend, according to Bryce Koon of 247 Sports.

Daniels, a junior from Lilburn, Ga., caught 55 passes for 1,067 yards and ten touchdowns this past season. He entered the transfer portal on January 4.

The 6-1, 195-pound receiver has notched 106 receptions for 1,954 yards and 21 touchdowns over his four-year career at Liberty. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at his next school.

This tells you they have limited faith in the current WRs...Hilton, Sampson, etc have alot of potential but no results. Need a huge spring/summer to be ready for the fall. It could be an 8-4 season based on Offense taking a step back and the D still trying get bodies(DL/CBs) along with a harder schedule

this is retarded. all the talent in the portal and we're playing as conservative as liberty WR's?? where's BK's killer instinct? just stay at ND if you're gonna check every hand you're dealt.

This is a really dumb comment. This is isn't poker. We do not have a true #1 WR. Whose the #WR? The fact that the he's looking to improve the WR is the killer instinct. Man, I don't know how some of make it through life.

Can he play corner?

100% okay with a 1,000+ yard WR at a school like Liberty with maybe not the best QB... compared to an FCS McNeese St CB with 15 tackles 1 pass defended and 1 INT on the previous year...

Did we even try to get the #1 WR in the portal who just committed to Oregon...Evan Stewart?

No. Brian Kelly doesn’t like to win. All of these top players in the portal secretly want to play for LSU for free…no NIL money at all…but he spurns them for lesser players as it’s all a part of his evil, devious, master plan. Mwuhuhaha!

Evan Stewart made it known he is taking the most money.

No we got the receiver who put up 8/80 against Oregon, a better stat line that any of our returning receivers all year, minus Lacy who had a similar stat line against Wisconsin.
