Like the bad blocked punt missed call that helped put SC up early? Where the guy launched over the shield? In fact, the rule was immediately changed after that game.

The hit on Nuss was 100% the right call, regardless of the pick 6. Stupid play by the SC player

Simple, because it's relevant to LSU as an example of potential affects getting top players in this portal class can have on a team making it to a NC

Perfect example of what paying for elite players does for your team. 3 TDs so far

re: How did Bama roll us so badly?

Match ups matter, Bama OL vs our DL was not favorable to us. And it was also raining, which further favored the running game (which we struggled in the run game) and hurt our passing game

Torn tricep is what I believe it was.

It’s just you…
Annually, would it cost in the $25mil range to field a championship roster? What are we thinking here, and how does this affect the future of the transfer portal/recruiting?

I could see the transfer portal begin to settle down some once teams are paying current roster members "market value" as part of retaining them. The way HS kids are getting paid, the proven college talent is just trying to catch up on what they're being paid. You have to think that this will level out over the next year or so, and building/retaining a championship roster just costs X amount of $$.

The transfer that keeps on giving…
This is why portal recruiting is just as important, if not more valuable than HS recruiting.

It'll be interesting to see how this affects HS recruiting in the long term. Unless something changes, it'll be hard to get "developmental type" HS recruits and keep them on your roster.

You think we'll take more than 2? I think we only take 2 WRs in the portal..
I was at the game and. He was grabbing the front of his knee. Looked like they were checking his patella, where it attaches to the shin. Couldn’t really tell how he hurt it though…

Jalen Reed, the LSU basketball player. The only LSU game currently live.
I’m at the game and didn’t know if there was any update on the broadcast.

Any update on Reed injury?

Went down with what looked like a knee injury.

Let's not overreact to all these transfers. I think we are expecting in the 15 range. Just remember if we're hitting the portal hard then there will be current guys leaving. Just gotta keep a really good core of your current impact guys and young talent.

And let's see where the chips fall for signing day tomorrow for this freshman class. Flips happen both ways...

Kelly pretty much said he was coming back already.
Rumor was Heard didn't want to play RT, he wanted LT.
He did see the field, but you could tell he wasn't ready yet. I think he's still developing as a college WR. He could definitely take a big step this off-season, and I'm hoping he does for the Tigers.

Well on the bright side…

We should have a bunch of NIL money freed up to go get some other dudes now.
