Arizona Sports Radio Talk Show host John Gambadoro tweeted Tuesday that Sun Devils transfer quarterback Jayden Daniels could visit LSU as a potential transfer destination.

Daniels was planning on returning to Arizona State for his senior season but entered the transfer portal last month after several coaching changes and other NCAA issues.

The 6-3, 185-pound California native passed for 2380 yards last season with 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

LSU returns Myles Brennan from the transfer portal for his final year of eligibility, along with redshirt freshman Garrett Nussmeier, and true freshman Walker Howard for the 2022 season.

Wish the kid the best, but don’t think it will be at LSU.

Yes, he can pass. 65% completion last year. He can run too. 6 TDs; 710 yards for 5.1 yards per carry.

I watched an ASU game last year that they won... I literally thought to myself, "This guy makes Max look like first team All-NCAA." And I was thankful that we did not have to worry about guys like him being our QB...

With Brennan starting and gunslinging and a potential first round talent QB backing him up as an experienced dual threat QB disrupts any SEC defensive planning against LSU. Adding him would be a great insurance policy, raise the level of QB competitiveness and add a reserve weapon. Great coaches can not worry about who may enter the transfer portal. Coach Kelly has already established himself as a great communicator. He will make sure players understand their roles and potential roles. Real men have the balls to compete and have the humility to understand why decisions are made!

Pass, ESPNU radio were just talking about him and the lack of interest most teams have in him.

And that is the silent problem with the portal. A lot of kids get into the portal and are ending up nowhere. For some, it has been a career-ender. Or they end up at a school below the level they were at due to lack of interest and still do not get on the field. It's not the end all be all for many of these portal entrants.

Saw him play Arizona his freshman year, he may has beef'd up since then, but in person, he looks tiny. He is definitely a run threat, but I gotta believe his future if he has one is not at QB.

He’s got family from Marksville, he was always interested in LSU but they didn’t really recruit him coming out of high school, even though he was a 4 start QB

Dembrock already stated he wants a QB that can make plays with his feet. That is not Myles Brennan, Nuss and Howard are not ready. Myles Brennan has been here 5 years and he was healthy for only ONE year. Why the hell would we not take this kid or another experienced QB. He has Played far more games than Brennan.
