Class of 2027 LSU quarterback commit Peyton Houston made the trip to Baton Rouge this weekend.

During his visit to campus, Houston met with the new coaching staff, including new head coach Lane Kiffin:

Houston, a 5-11, 200-pound passer from Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, La., is the No. 8th-ranked quarterback in the nation and the No. 5 player in Louisiana, per the 247Sports Composite.

He committed to the previous coaching staff back in September, over offers from Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and many others.

This kid can flat out play. He puts up huge numbers and doesn’t play the whole game

I just hope we can get Elijah Haven....says he is down to 4 schools and LSU is not included. Does anyone know anything more. I know that the LSU coaches were making the rounds to the top high schools last week.

Haven plays 1 mile away and LSU isn't in his top 4. Forget him

He should watch film of Drew Brees and how he overcame his lack of height playing. I think he will be a good one for LSU.

I remember the atoey of Brees at rhe combine. He made rhem measure him 3 times. The first two times the crew shouted 5'11". The third time they shouted 6 foot and he stepped down.

Feel for the guy. If he was 3 inches taller he’d be #1 qb in nation.

He's ranked #2 by ESPN. The other services have him anywhere from 7 to 9.
