LSU landed a commitment from Charlotte running back Rod Gainey on Tuesday afternoon.

The redshirt freshman from Tampa, Fla., played 11 games, rushing for 260 yards on 74 carries (3.5 avg. per carry) with one touchdown.

Gainey is LSU's seventh commitment from the transfer portal and the second running back to join the Tigers this offseason.

Remember, the playoff QB for one miss RIGHT NOW came from DII. Brought on by Lane. Poor new coach.

Apparently you don’t realize that we don’t have the money to sign 30 elite players. Some people will be for depth.
