Talented four-star wide receiver JaMarr Chase from Metairie, LA (Rummel) announced Wednesday night that he de-committed from Florida.
Chase originally committed to the Gators on back in July, choosing the Gators over LSU and TCU. He gave his verbal pledge to coach Jim McElwain who was fired last week.
Chase, a 6-1, 192-pound prospect is rated the No. 12 wide receiver in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the State of Louisianna for the class of 2018, according to the 247Sports Composite Rating.
Expect wide receiver coach Mickey Joseph and head coach Ed Orgeron to turn up the heat on Chase's recruitment to LSU.
