According to multiple reports, Nevada center transfer Will Baker has committed to LSU.

Baker, 7-0, 245-pounds, started in 32 games this past season, averaging 13.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Wolfpack.

The Austin, Texas native began his college career at Texas as a four-star recruit but transferred to Nevada during his sophomore season.

LSU hasn't had a white ALL SEC basketball player since Geert Hammick in 1993. After 30 years, maybe it's time that changes and this big fella can be the next one.

I beat the big Hammick in pool once. Then I took his girlfriend. I also made up one of these things. The other is true, though.

McMahon gonna make a lot of y’all eat crow. You don’t sign a coach to 7 years unless it’s a complete rebuild. He needs time but he’ll be fine.

I think so too, he seems like a classy guy with morals.

So, if McM doubles his SEC win total next season, I have to eat crow?

He's a good coach. You don't win like he did at Murray State, unless you can coach. People forget he had 0 players at one point. None. He scrapped together a roster and did what he could. He will do well.

Honestly, I’m a little uneasy with players that transfer multiple times within a 4-year period. Glad to have a 7-footer, though.
