Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
Former LSU shooting guard Antonio Blakeney has signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, the team announced Friday.

Blakeney has appeared in four games for the Bulls’ Summer League team this year, averaging 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 26.8 minutes per game.

Here is who the Bulls describe a "two-way contract" on their official page:
quote:

Per NBA rules, teams are permitted to have two Two-Way players on their roster at any given time, in addition to their 15-man regular season roster. A Two-Way player for the Bulls will provide services to the team’s G League affiliate – the Windy City Bulls – but can spend up to 45 days with Chicago, not including any time prior to the start of Windy City’s training camp and at the conclusion of their season.

Good for him. Wish he had stayed for another season under Will Wade, but can't blame a man for trying to earn a paycheck.

He picked the right time to get hot from Three that's for sure. His game was so hyped when he got here that I expected him to be doing that right from the start. His missed wide open three's probably cost us getting in the tournament his freshman year. He will still do almost all of his playing on the minor league team but has boosted his chances of making over $30,000 now. It depends on how many weeks he actually plays on the NBA team.
