Tax increase for teacher pay raise will never pass. Too many children attend private school. Why should parents who pay for private school pay for an increase in salary for public school teachers?

Not in Livingston parish. One of the main reasons people move there is for the public schools.
Since you’re already shopping at Costco, try the Kirkland Signature Helles-Style Lager. It’s brewed by Deschutes and very good for the price.

JRAD with Branford Marsalis and Warren Haynes was next level

They clearly aren’t repeating on this 9 show run.

I’m hoping they do one on the last encore to troll.
I went Friday and Saturday last weekend. Friday was great and Saturday was another level. I’ve liked what I’ve heard and seen from this weekend so far. Will be interesting to see if they go no repeats next weekend, I’m assuming so.

JF been in decline for years. Price gouging and headline performers that come are nowhere near what they used to be years ago. Following reflection the attendance decline.

I was out there yesterday. It was absolutely packed and I had a great time. Someone must have forgot to tell everyone.
I love sashimi and other small plates that emphasize high-quality raw fish like toro, uni, or salmon belly, but I will still not tolerate Philly roll slander.

Duang Tawan, among others
I went a couple times and really enjoyed it. Great wine list. The food was really good and unique but ultimately nothing that would wow you. Some of the dishes were bad values, like the iberico plate. Service was great, but they weren’t that busy.

Perusing the menu, I just couldn't figure out how one would make an actual meal out of what they were serving.

Definitely some truth to this. It was really catered to groups of 4 or so that wanted to share a bunch of stuff and not get too caught up splitting up the bill. Not ideal for a lunch or quick dinner.

Damn. It's not surprising, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

Yea and the way he was still so active, I hadn’t reached the point where I thought I had probably seen him for the last time, even given his age.

One of the all time great songwriters. He was still performing recently and sounded great.

Fare thee well.

18 offices and 160 employees… firms that size don’t just fall apart.

Hard to imagine there was still not significant value left to maintain a firm that with that many offices and employees that services many different industries, at least according their website. Like others have said, they have been making a bunch of moves indicative of a firm that was still growing, not about to fall apart.

The Fed’s favored inflation gauge — called the personal consumption expenditures index, or PCE — climbed to a 2.8% annual pace last quarter, up from 2.1% in the second quarter.

This wasn't in bold, but matters more to the average person.

Still great, but I miss the creepy baby on the old label.

only red flag I see is you constantly lowering asking price. Tells me you’ll do it again

WSJ just had an article about this. Setting the price too high to begin with only to start cutting prices can backfire.

With that said, we had a weird rotation with our bigs and seemed lost. I think the game against DePaul was partly because our rotation shortened.

The rotation was going to need to shorten at some point. I feel for Reed, but we still have Nwoko, Sutton, and Miller as bigs. And from what I've seen, Tamba can guard any position.
