But Finch has been adamant that Kiffin is the next UF head coach.

Better put that guy on watch when it doesn't happen. Lane might actually need to be on watch for him showing up on his doorstep.

Kelly started off as a girls softball coach; and was a successful FCS coach. Got to start somewhere. How about the coach below.

Bobby Hauck (129 Wins)

FCS Record: 129-36 (13 seasons)

FCS School: Montana (2003-2009, 2018-
If not him maybe another FCS coach?

The guy at my local high school here has won a few 1A and 2A state championships. Why don't we hire him?

hire the best OC at highest salary

When you have to hire the "best" coordinators......you are fricked. See Les Miles, Ed (when his left), and Kelly for examples. Hiring Frank would be a fricking disaster.

But that won't stop Phillytiger posting totally legit stuff hes hearing

The On3 boards are relatively quiet this morning, so he won't have much of an update.

They’ve already said no.

It's going to be so glorious to watch Florida completely melt down when you don't get Kiffin. Even if we don't get him, which I think we do, the fact that you are so fricking certain he's coming is hilarious and will make the eventual meltdown that much more entertaining.

I would not want Kirby. He’s perfect for UGA. Might as well re-hire Ed Orgeron.

Give me Kelvin Sheppard or Joe Brady before we hire a coach losing/ struggling against Billy Gonzales

Georgia struggled with Florida the game after Napier was fired…. Would you say you don’t want Kirby?. Dumbest fricking logic of all time.
We just ignoring the fact that players were in position based on the called defense and just blatantly missed tackles? Baker can’t tackle the players himself. In general, most of the big plays from running QBs are based on bad angles or missed tackles. I’m not saying Baker is blameless, but there is way too much blame placed his direction when he calls the correct defense, and they just blow assignments or miss tackles.

re: Green has been really bad

The two drops in the last game were bad, but his targets in this game have all been woefully terrible throws.

re: MVB NOW HAS MORE

Posted by koLSU86 on 11/15/25 at 1:49 pm to
He has also made some horrible fricking throws…. Being better than Nuss at something isn’t exactly a high bar. MVB is pretty terrible as well.

re: Bobby Petrino is a bitch

He’s extraordinarily pissed over something that wasn’t even interference. Then he got even more pissed when they called what was actually interference on their player. Guy is going to pop a fricking artery over two correct calls .

He has always been a whiny count and he always will be.

Well then, I know for sure he knows nothing then because none of the On3 insiders know anything about LSU until it's actually already reported.

That’s actually not accurate. They were saying Kelly was fired over there long before anything was being reported. The original subject of this post being the one that called it well before any news outlets had said anything.
quote:

so the OP is word for word from an "insiders" post? I thought he is contradicting what the "insiders" are saying...

Not always word for word, but some of it yes. For example, the wording about Sexton telling LSU a number for Saban and them not saying no was basically word for word what one of the insiders over there said. I’m just saying that he parrots what they say a lot. Maybe he gets the same information as they do for all I know, but it’s never before them. Put it that way.

But Phillytiger told us we fine aiming high at Kiffin and Saban

For what it's worth, Philly basically quotes what other insiders on On3 say almost word for word. So, he's either one of those guys, or he just reads those boards and acts like he has sources. He never posts information until one of the insiders on On3 post information, then he says the same shite, so....take that for what you will.

The more I read, Hartline would be an awesome hire

I really don't get the obsession here. He's been at one school and really hasn't even called plays that much. He's slightly more experienced than Kelvin Sheppard, and people get all up in arms about that, and they rightfully should. Neither one of them has enough experience in a major coaching role to be considered, in my opinion. If you're going the coordinator route, and there isn't a single thing wrong with that, maybe get one that has sustained success, actually calling plays and running an offense or defense for multiple seasons. You're really flirting with potential disaster with someone like Hartline who really hasn't even called plays that much.

Additionally, he's an Ohio State lifer, having played and coached there. What do you think happens if he is successful and Ohio State opens up in 3 or 4 years for whatever reason? He's gone....That's under the crazy scenario that he actually does have success, which is a long shot beyond long shots.

If so, why are they trying to get out of the buyout?

Kelly stated in an email that he was open to a settlement, but then sued them for attempting to settle.. frick that guy.
