New head coach Matt McMahon landed his first high school commitment at LSU on Thursday from three-star center Corneilous Williams.
The 6-10, 195-pound prospect from Hickory, N.C. (Moravian Prep) was originally committed to McMahon at Murray State but reopened his recruitment this week. Now he's headed to Baton Rouge instead.
Williams is McMahon's third commitment at LSU as transfers Kendal Coleman and Justice Hill signed with the Tigers earlier this week.
LSU has had eight players enter the transfer portal since Will Wade was fired earlier this month. Tari Eason and Darius Days will also be leaving to enter the NBA Draft.
