RIP Battleship Lorenzen.
Hope Tayden has continued success. Would love to see him competing in Kentucky Blue.

Man, Jared was such a freak athlete for his size. I hope is son is similarly good.

I know his Dad would be proud of him

I was hoping he'd be chunkier, but good luck to the kid. Loved watching his dad play.

I’m glad he’s not. Being that big is not healthy at all and I hope his son never gets even half that big.

RIP Big guy. He was a QB in a tackles body.

Nobody really wanted to tackle him when he got running. They just kind of tried to chop him or hit from the side. He packed a punch when he hit people

Glad his kid looks normal size. Better for him long term. Also Tayden is a prototype travel ball name if I ever heard one.

Good for that young man. His father was an absolute BEAST at Kentucky. Were it not for a couple UK defenders trying to intercept a pass rather than knock it down at the end of the game in 2002, he would have had a win and the Bluegrass Miracle would never have happened. Lorenzen just simply could not be tackled or sacked that game, he was like a freaking statue. I am so happy for his son, Tayden, to be showing similar flashes of greatness. I think he'd look quite good and natural in Kentucky blue and white.

Not sure I’ve seen a bunch of QB’s blocking on the sled, but after watching that, it seems right. Pulling for tayden or whatever his spelling is.

CSB: we made a #22 dummy of Jared in 2000 when they came to BR. We hung it from a tree with doritoes and fiddle faddle bags from its hands and stuffed it to make it fat. His grandparents walked by and didnt like it. Then we gave them that 34-0 L
