A plane was forced to make an emergency landing at a golf course in the Pacific Palisades Friday afternoon after failing to navigate a landing at the Santa Monica Airport.

The plane made the emergency landing just after 1 p.m., at Riviera Country Club on the 1200 block of Capri Drive.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the plane landed safely at the golf course and all three occupants were uninjured.

Honestly, the pilot did a great job getting it down without crashing it.

Headline is wrong - that's not a 'crash' landing, it was an emergency landing. You can see prop isn't turning, engine is dead. Pilot managed to miss the tree, miss the building, got it through the course w/o flipping. All 3 occupants uninjured.

I'm not really qualified to judge but considering the obstructions he missed, the ground was hilly and he didn't flip...I'd say 10/10 on sticking the landing.

Not one of those dickheads went to check on anyone. But I have been to BelAir where Howard Hughs landed a plane on the 7th or 8th fairway for a piece of arse and got kicked out the club the next day.
