I wouldn't say that they aren't talented... It takes skill to act like you were just shot then get up and play rest of the match what gets me is the "Messi runs a 10k each match".... But he does it in 90 min with a break. celebrate his goal scoring not his 15 min/mile pace

I get how many don't find it super entertaining, as we are an offensive minded culture for the most part.

But, it's not a talentless sport. In fact, the elite players are probably the most talented at their sport in the world given the worldwide popularity of the sport.

It's not for all, but it's dumb to knock the talent required. Shows a lot of ignorance. Typical meat head take.

The problem I have with soccer is the lack of interaction between the players on the two teams. In baseball, the pitcher and batter square off with every pitch. In football, the offense must run a play in a certain amount of time or there’s a penalty - same with basketball. In soccer, the team with the ball can pass the ball from sideline to sideline and back and forth without penalty. The few instances where a player with the ball is driving to score and is challenged by a defender are exciting but too rare. There are no commercial breaks because the real action is so rare and no one knows when to expect it. And the only person who knows the time left in a match is a single referee; that sucks.

In other words he sucks at the sport.

I have tried to get into soccer. I have watched premier league, etc., and I simply cannot get into it. It is 90 minutes of kicking ball around and maybe 6 or 7 shots on goal. It is boring to me.

Drunk people can get in fights and knock out other drunk people, doesn't make em talented or MMA fighters. Kinda a dumb point dana (who I like).

Ask a 20-something year old that is marginally athletic to play basketball, flag football and soccer. Often soccer is their worst sport as the coordination to use your feet to run AND kick the ball is not always intuitive - plus many folks are not in good shape. I know random friends that can play flag football but are terrible at soccer. Flag football has roles where you just block, rush the qb or play db without being able to catch. Basketball allows someone to play that can't shoot (but plays defense and rebounds) - kinda like Ben Simmons... Soccer does not isolate roles as much - it's field players that need to be able to run and pass at a minimum or the goalkeeper.

What's NOT to like about Dana White???
