In case you missed it, former MMA star Ben Askren was the latest to box YouTube star Jake Paul last night. Askren got knocked out in the first round and had this to say about it after...
quote:

“It’s probably deserved,” Askren said about the ridicule. “Because I got knocked out by Jake Paul. It’s f-ing embarrassing.

“I didn’t let the MMA community down, I let the world down. People f-ing hate Jake Paul and they wanted to see me make him miserable and I didn’t do that. So I didn’t let the MMA community down, I let the world down.”

He's been retired, had a hip replacement not long ago...he went for the paycheck and nothing else. Can't blame him he's supposedly getting around 1 Million.

If accurate, that explains it.

So does the "apology" mean he is looking for a rematch...and another payday?

At least Logan Paul ate a stunner at WrestleMania

Damnit. And he is a Mizzou alumni. Sorry baws. Great wrestler. Good MMA career. Definitely didn’t train for this.

Wait, the guy that was knocked out is an MMA star? The guy looks out of shape.

Former mma guy i believe. I don't think he really even trained for it

That "knockout" looked fake as hell.

It did to me as well. Looks like that punch grazed the side of his head and the dude dropped like a sack of potatoes. If he was an MMA fighter a punch like that shouldn’t drop him like that.

I saw Askren take a beating when one of his fights went to the ground and he got up. In shape or not, that MMA beat down he took was way worse than that Jake Paul punch.
