© Jake Crandall / USA TODAY NETWORK
Rumors are floating that Auburn coach Bryan Harsin’s “immediate future at Auburn” is in question. On Friday, Auburn president Jay Gogue released a confusing to address those rumors... In a statement to ESPN on Thursday night, Harsin reaffirmed he’ll be head coach at Auburn next season, despite the rumors...
quote:

“I’m the Auburn coach, and that’s how I’m operating every day,” Harsin said on Thursday night in an interview with ESPN. “I want this thing to work, and I’ve told our players and told everybody else there is no Plan B. I’m not planning on going anywhere. This was and is the job. That’s why I left the one I was in, to come here and make this place a championship program and leave it better than I found it.”

“I’m the Auburn coach, and that’s how I’m operating every day,”...feel like that's the line all coaches use right before they are shown out the door.

It doesn't look like Harsin will leave it better than he found it. Yikes does not look good in Auburn football.

If that tweet is the extent of Auburn's statement, it's not confusing. May be worded a little poorly but all he's saying is we are investigating the matter and as soon as we gather all the facts we will let you know what we decide to do with the Auburn head football coaching position.
