Tuscaloosa Mayor Says Loss Of Alabama Football Season Would Loss Billions In Revenue For City

According to Tuscaloosa Walt Maddox said a season without Alabama football could cost the town $2 billion...

The team also brings in significant cash flow and it could mean a major loss should the college football season get canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. Mayor Walt Maddox told reporters on a video conference call that not having a season could result in about $2 billion in lost revenue.

Literally Auburn is located in Auburn and their campus has a section for trailers. If we're comparing Alabama vs. Auburn, generally, Bama's student body and alumni is the tradition frat boy/business guy. Auburn is the farmer.
