If Alabama head coach Nick Saban wins another championship this season, don't expect him to be celebrating with alcohol...
quote:

“No drinks,” Saban said. “I used to drink. When we had kids and my kids were growing up, I decided I didn’t want to set that kind of example for them. So I just quit drinking, and it’s probably the best thing I ever did. Never had a hangover. I just don’t do it.”

“You have more fun and you enjoy it more (when you don’t drink),” Saban said. “You build your relationships more. It’s been a good thing for me, one of the best things I decided to do.”

I quit Krokodil when my oldest was born, and it really turned things around for me.

You can't make a horse drink water if he still prefers beer or is
too crazy to know what he does want. Set a pail of water beside
him, tell him how good it is and why, and leave him alone.

Admirable reason. I never saw my dad sitting around just drinking to get drunk. Never really saw beer in the fridge growing up. Drank lightly in a social setting though. Cool and funny when tipsy/tad drunk, so that always helps. I turned out the same, so was a positive influence.

Exactly. This is why I moved on to meth and tranq.

I don’t blame anyone for making the decision not to drink. I also have no issue with it being done in moderation. I drink every now and then but have seen too many alcoholics flush their life down the tubes to abuse it on the regular.

Ahhh...there is nothing better than a cold Samuel Adams on a hot day...or a cold day...or when it's raining...or during a hurricane...or...ahhh...haha.

I thought he fell off a boat when he was drunk since his kids were born.

Good for him. Alcohol does nothing but destroy.

I had a Zima once and my entire family dropped dead that day. My dog also got hit by a Budweiser truck the next week.
