Alabama's Terrell Lewis Posts Message To Fans Trolling Him For Not Playing In Citrus Bowl
© Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama star DB Terrell Lewis is one of a couple players sitting out the Citrus Bowl against Michigan. Apparently, Lewis is hearing it from fans/trolls about not playing to prepare for the NFL Draft, so he posted this message to Instagram on Wednesday...

This trend is disturbing. The lack of desire to compete because of money is alarming. For the love of the game is no longer a real thing. It is for the love of the money. You could get injured over a myriad of ways outside football. You could get injured just preparing for the draft itself during non contact drills. You could have a wreck; get sick; etc.. countless injuries. This is even more silly when one realizes that NFL rookie contracts aren't constructed like it was before 2011: they aren't making the big contracts as rookies anymore. So, their fear is tearing an ACL? You could do that your first game. The logic is stupid and disrespectful to the school who have you everything for free and more to become an NFL caliber talent.

I don't think you know what "run-on sentence" means... which one do you think is "run-on"? There are eleven sentences in that paragraph, that's only seven and a half lines of type long...?

I understand his decision, considering the injuries he’s had; however, it doesn’t make sense that he decided to play in the senior bowl.

The only knowledge fans need to have is that the University of Alabama gave you a free ride and a HUGE national stage upon which to display your talents, which will in turn earn you $Millions. Get over yourself, Terrell. No one player is bigger than the game. Try doing the honorable thing.

Being a bammer he is not popular in here but he is right. How many of you would be cool with total strangers telling you how to proceed with your life?

Unfortunately, he will probably be broke in 5-10 years and have to find a real job. Hope he got his degree.

You'd think with all that money floating around Bama they could at least afford to buy that man a comma or semi-colon. Wow.
