Guess there is a scale on what is “popular”. Vmapire Weekend’s top song on Spotify has over 500m listens. Looks like most recent tour had them playing theaters or amphitheaters. Not playing stadiums or arenas (frankly not too many bands play those size places anymore, especially not 25 year old legacy band) but not playing clubs either
