Only Saban can convince stars like Tua to stay another year....amazing the sway the old, grinchy, balding dude has over players.

The dude is made out of glass and has had three surgeries in a little over a year. He needs to go now if he has a first round score. It would be stupid not to.

I love how all these people supposedly know what would happen as far as Tua progressing to participate in the combine. No one is capable of giving that advice on this board. If he declares and is not well enough for the combine, would he really go 1st round? How would you know that?

Imagine if he were to lose to LSU twice in a reaux lol

If I were him, I would go to the draft but I know he wants to grad college with a degree and he is on target to do that in August I think. I like tigers chances at beating bama no matter what Tua chooses to do.

he’s an idiot if he stays in college.

Why stay? If he stays and gets hurt again his draft stock will fall to 0. He will could lose millions!

There's no guarantee that he's less prone to injury just because he's in the NFL... and the scouts know it. The NFL is not a "safe zone". His NFL stock has already had a haircut.

Saban may have lost him millions by playing him against Moo State. All I heard was LSU won because Tua was hurt and then he is starting the next week against a completely outmatched opponent. Guess he wasn't so hurt after all.

CDawson, I don't know who told you that LSU won simply because Tua was hurt...but if you are being fair, he wasn't 100%. In fact, the play I go to is his 1st quarter carry into the endzone. He was obviously not 100% and when he fumbled, it appears he heard footsteps and it distracted him because he was hesitant to take a hit. I am not saying the outcome would have been different but there is a much better chance that it would have been were Tua 100% in that game.

Tua: "Hey, look at me! I haven't had enough attention lately!"

Cause he's one of the top QBs in CFB. He'd be the top guy next season if he stays? Just a couple of reasons but glad he ruined your day.

Listening to Gumps, he'd be the backup behind Bryce Young.

By virtue of this announcement, he just announced he's going PRO. Nobody pre-announces that they're staying put.
