It is ALL so very predictable at this point, so why do we pretend otherwise?

Gus is coming out of his shell. There was no "we had a good week of practice".

TBF, there's reasons the line opened at 17 and dropped even further besides just the fact that we're a clusterfrick. There's a chance Tulane is better than anyone on Bama's entire OOC, and it was after a game of the week matchup. I say that defending Tulane, not the offensive genius.

I hope you’re right that Tulane turns out to be a quality win. But I don’t think I’ve ever felt so hopeless after a 2-0 start.

Seems like we looked just as shitty against Alabama St last year on offense if you take out Schwartz and the factor in that it was Alabama St. The whole start to this season has been deja vu to me. The first game was eerily similar all around.

2013. I felt better about the LSU loss than i did about the 3 wins prior. It still probably took another game or two before i felt like we knew what the hell we were doing on offense. Right now i don't have faith we'll figure it out this year.

Let’s be honest here, you are always feeling hopeless. Nobody can tell the difference when it comes to you.

I tried to tell myself this game would be like 2017 against Mercer...but we had over 500 yards of offense that game, just turned it over a bunch. So then I just got sad...

The same patterns on offense are simply showing up again. The only difference is we have a QB, who although inconsistent as a FR, has more qb savvy than past QBs.

I knew that Gus going back to calling plays would have the same results he started to get in 2015,2016. Defenses know how to defend now like they did then.

No RBs outside Boobie getting chance to get running game going. KMartin is still not the answer coach.
Use Joiner only on wheel route. Make your QB throw 29 times? In first half. That’s no way to bring him along slowly.

There’s one glaring issue that is above all others, and that is the OL.

We need that addressed ASAP!

OL got their shite pushed in on every running play except for the two QB sweeps we ran with Whitlow.

Freakin USCe had 700 yds of offense w freshman qb and less tslent than AU.
Gus- why do you say we are still developing Kmart? He’s a senior. You said the offense was going to involve the TE. Other than 1 pass play, TE is nonexistent except to block. Your passing routes suck. Your RBs suck. Your oline sucks. You have failed to recruit elite SEC talent on O and your O schemes suck. Running up the middle w same back over and over is not much of a scheme esp w poor talent. You have little coaching experience and combined w ego, have refused to hire top coordinators. Steele turned out to be fine by chance (many here wanted Aranda but were told he would never leave Wisky), but you have too much arrogance to bring in true offensive guru. So we continue to suck BECAUSE of YOU!

They also played a bad FCS team. Not excusing our performance at all, just that USCe is a bad comparison.

Fine. Their foe was worse than Tulane. But 700 yds worse? My post still stands. Hope DJ gets healthy to get a better RB out there. Desperately need Shwartz. Otger than that, I dont expect much to change.
