I'm curious what other schools had to offer that would have caused Alabama to have a need to pay for the players?
Better coaching?
Higher chance at the NFL?
Better national championship chances?
Better support staff for school?
Better pussy?

My guy, Alabama just spent the better part of two decades dominating the conference to a degree far beyond anything LSU or Lane Kiffin ever has or ever will do, and yet no one - not even Tennessee, who is apparently behind this current situation - ever breathed a word about kicking us out. Whatever all of this is about, fear of LSU winning some games has nothing to do with it.
