Easy solution. If a player goes out with injury, and the clock stops, then the player is not allowed back on the field until a change of possession.

Regarding the enmity against Tenn, Munson originally came from Nashville (Vandy area), so he was use to a powerful Tennessee team, and he carried that for the rest of his life.

I think you may mean Arnsparger, who resigned to become AD at Florida. Archer was Arnsparger's DC and was hired when Arnsparger resigned. Arnsparger had some good seasons.

I remember back in the late 80's and maybe early 90's Mike Archer seemed to have LSU playing great football. I went into the military, and when I got back to the state of Georgia,he was gone. I really thought that guy could coach. Do any of you older LSU fans remember why he left? Was he run off? You never really get the full story from simply going to Wiki.
