Is SEC really just a five-team conference?

Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Auburn.

No one else with any chance any time soon of winning the league. And those teams don’t all play each other. I’m having a college football apathy melt over the infrequency of quality games.

Looks that way at the moment, but things can change quickly. A couple weeks ago, many thought A&M belonged in this discussion. Heck, UK won 10 games last year.

uhhh how can you include LSU and not Auburn. Auburn has been more recently to an SEC championship and more consistently in the past 10 years

I put Mizzou even with Florida...and I don’t put Florida at the same level as the other 4, therefore this is a 4 team conference OR a 6 team conference. Probably a 4.

Wrong. UGA belongs with other teams who haven’t won shite since the Reagan administration.

If Florida is top 10 then so is Michigan... They would have had their hands full with UT if JG could hit asphalt in a Six-Flags parking lot.

I’m not sold on Florida either and I’m a Florida fan, but a better QB wasn’t gonna save UT against us. There was a drive in the first half that Mullen legitimately treated like a scrimmage.

Why is UF included? They barely beat a bad Miami team and should’ve lost to Kentucky. Bama, UGA, LSU, and auburn.

UGA is the only team besides bama to make the playoffs. No other sec team has come close.

Well, had Auburn won our rematch in Atlanta we’d have been there, so that’s not true.

Auburn got blown out in that game, so I’d say they weren’t very close.

Well, you’d be wrong again.
Regardless, UGA is a lot closer to LSU and Auburn than Alabama.

The last 2 UGA bama games have been decided on the final drive of the game... and UGA boat raced auburn in the last 2 games. I do think LSU is good this year. Auburn has a good defense, but their offense is average at best.
