KT 46.2% passer. Stevens 60.2% passer, Shrader 57.5% passer.

KT(2018) avg 11.7 per pass, 6TD on 39 pass attempts, avg 9.4 per rush, 4TD on 24 attempts.

Tommy(2019) avg 7.2 per pass, 11TD on 161 attempts, avg 4.6 per rush, 4TD on 83 attempts

Tommy is awful, KT never even got a chance even though his average yardage was better. Had Mullen stayed, KT would have been better than Fitz.

Says the fan of a team on its 5th coach in 11 years. Didn't you guys burn campus buildings to protest hiring of a decent coach? #MeTooUT

They think they have a good program. Delusion

No State fan expects 13-0 and SEC Championships every year, but we do expect more than a dysfunctional team. We've had a decent-to-good program for a decade and is a delusion to deny that. (i didn't say "great")

Idk what the hell is wrong with the Bama student body

They're bored and spoiled. Saban can solve the problem by keeping the games close and exciting. Let Western Chippewa Directional College get within 2 TDs in the 3rd quarter.

You were right up until that point. the NCAA can not avoid a state law when it comes to this. It will result in Antitrust lawsuits.

How would Cali present antitrust law issues? Couldn't the NCAA just ban the California schools from being eligible for post season and championships while still allowing them to stay in the NCAA, compete, and profit? It would be hard to argue antitrust if the NCAA allows you to continue to operate as normal.

If you’ve been remotely paying attention the bottom of this league went from respectable during the SEC dominance years to terrible and this transition is not recent

I think that's a bit exaggerated. SEC teams have been fairly consistent during the last 25+ years and win National Championships on a regular basis which is a pretty good measure for conference strength.

What hurts the conference is having 1 team(Alabama) dominate and win every year. It creates an unfair perception that we are Bama and the rest. UGA, LSU, Florida, Auburn A&M have all had exceptional seasons.

I really hate to defend any LSU fans, but parity in college baseball is real. I do believe given your history, LSU should have been to the CWS more than 3x. Look at the NCs the last 10 years..

2010 SC 1st
2011 SC 2nd
2012 Arizona 4th
2013 UCLA 1st
2014 Vandy 1st
2015 Virginia 1st
2016 Coastal Car 1st
2017 Florida 1st
2018 Oregon St 3rd

This years CWS will feature 6 teams that have never won a NC.
It's a bit early to declare Clemson the better program. Urban Meyer and Florida beat Saban a couple of times and we see where their program was a year or two later.

Saban opened his playbook after 2 decades but it's his rotating DCs that is hurting the program.

Dabo and Clemson have shown vulnerability in weak ACC play. I just think he knows how to attack the Bama defense much like Kirby Smart knows how.

Just curious but when the Stewarts at the Kentucky Derby aren't looking at replays of a race are they refereeing Saints games???

If the refs for the Saints game had been doing the Derby, that take out would have been ignored and Maximum Security would have won.
I'd think a Miss State fan would know better than call out another school who does less with more.

Ron Polk has 0 titles and had tons of talent in Starkville. He had at least 2 teams(85, 89) that should have won it all.

Murphy should have more titles, but so should the SEC. Murphy has 11 WCWS, Walton has 9, the Weeklys have 7. The SEC has 31 appearances in 10 years, 3 titles, and 6 runner up finishes.
So, F.King has been pulling the purse strings but LSU fans hate Alleva because he had to do what his boss told him. Sounds fricked!

I can only name a handful of universities where the AD has carte blanche without much influence from the President. Alabama, Auburn, Florida.

While I respect the hell out of Saban as a coach he's an idiot when it comes to this topic.

Why? I don't have a problem with any school rewarding students that show up and stay to the end of the games. It's especially beneficial for programs that consistently sell out tickets. Now, other people will have a chance to to get in. It's no different than rolling out the red carpet for donors. You give me, I give you.

Just utterly bizarre.

You just went 0-18! Oh, I know... let's hire a guy who has been an NBA assistant for 4 years, has never been a college head coach, and never had to recruit. Sounds awesome!

quote:

Lol, that was hilarious. Wtf are those chicks doing in transition defense?

After that offensive series, it looks like everyone is running away from the ball!
Also from Webster's Dictionary...

"Nowadays, this sense of dynasty is often applied to a sports franchise which has a prolonged run of successful seasons."

The Patriots are a dynasty and only a fool would say otherwise. In the past 23 seasons, they've been to 10 Super Bowls and won 6 Championships. They tied Pittsburgh for the most titles and currently have a 3 game lead on the most appearances. That is impressive with the same or different players.

If winning the SB is as simple as keeping your HC and players, why aren't all the big money teams (Jets, Bears, 49ers, Washington, and Cowboys) doing it every year? I'd say a large % of NFL coaches get fired, not retire.

It helps to have a bullshite call for FT's bail you out with 2 secs left. Don't mistake, Mizzou choked at the end of the game, but if they let that call go or call it correctly, they still win.
Look at California sports in general... College football and basketball are both dumpster fires, NFL teams leaving, the Lakers were bad post Kobe and mediocre w/Lebron, and the clippers look okay, but will wilt by post season. The Rams are off this week, but they only average 72,000 in a 79,000 seat stadium.

It's just a bad location for a southern and east coast team to meet. If the game were in or East of Dallas, it would be harder to get ticket.
You are joking, right? All of the other regions are in a "basketball season frame of mind" for two reason: 1. It's basketball season and conference play just started!! 2. Because their teams aren't playing the NCG. People will still watch this game. It's funny that you say Saban is killing football but you didn't mention any of the other teams. There have been 52 individual teams in the BCS or CFP since 1998, but only 19 different schools. Top 5 participants in the BCS or CFP(wins) - Alabama 8(5), Oklahoma 7(1), Florida St 5(2), Ohio St. 5(2), Clemson 4(1). Saban just makes the most of his opportunities when he gets there.
I think Kirby will beat Saban in the next 2 years. It's obvious from the 2 previous games that Kirby understands more about Saban and how to gameplan(offense and defense) against Alabama better than any coach. Other teams have good games against Bama here and there, but none dominate. I think Kirby has to take his in game learning and with recruiting, will beat Saban.
Why not do a home and home with a 3rd neutral site game? It's ridiculous that P5 schools continue to exclude teams like UCF from the playoff, but have no problem counting those wins against La Tech, Liberty, and the Citadel.

Just expand the playoff to 8 teams already. Give P5 Conference Champs auto-in, Best of the Rest to a non-P5 team and 2 wild card teams.
