I dated some tarts in my day but not sure I went out with them enough to retart them unless you are using the regifting line thinking and I was happy to regift them to others.

While you may question my intelligence (I question it daily myself) it is still greater than the media not having the common sense or reading ability to understand the simple concept of dynasty and multigenerational succession. None would doubt the singular prowess of a coach or player but unless their line continues, it is a series of wins, not a dynasty.

Added Celtics, did not add UCLA as that was all Wooden and Gilbert at the same time

Clearly 3 titles is 4 years is a nice run but has no succession of leadership necessary to define dynasty.

A decade or two is not even a generation so not a considerable period of time.

In history real dynasties may have gone century after century

For USA and CA sports 50 years it probably a good starting point.

Nobody doubts the power and influence of a single coach but unless you can repeat with decades of coaches, owners, and players you are not a dynasty as you are singular, not plural.

In terms of sports (especially in this age of free agency and salary caps), winning at the highest level even just for a few years is a considerable time period.

So,

The Pats are a dynasty
The Pop Spurs are a dynasty
The Kerr Warriors are a dynasty
Jordan’s Bulls were a dynasty

Etc.

When you redefine a word to fit your needs it does no mean the word is redefined

6 = Pats SB Championships (single players, coach, and owner)
6 = Steelers SB Championships (different players, owners, and coaches)

Clearly both are equal in SB's but only 1 fits the word and 1 does not

Pats are a series, streak, or possibly era - but clearly not a dynasty
