First I’m gonna start by saying I’m guilty! Sometimes we forget that players are human, I know I do. I, as a Bama fan, have failed my duty to love and support my university, their coaches and their players. This kid should never feel the need to write a letter of an apology...but yet he did.

I want an apology from the loser neckbeard that got paid $650,000 this year to suck crusty aids dick all year and give up 34 points to a micky mouse offense led by a mediocre freshman qb.

I don’t blame him. At this point he is a symptom of the kicking game, not the disease that has infected it for 10 years.

No need to apologize. He has to live with missing a kick that would tie the Iron Bowl for the rest of his life. And no, I wasn't one of the nut jobs that was harassing the kid.

He has nothing to apologize for at all.

I don’t think he owes anyone an apology but... Still should’ve made the kick

He should have made the kick.

He never should have been in a position late in the game to have to make the kick.

Bama got out coached and out played. Credit to them for their effort. Overcame a huge talent mismatch and did everything they had to do.

Very proud of how Mac and the offense performed outside of turnovers and mental mistakes.

As entertaining an IB from a football fan perspective, loss aside, as I can recall.

Thing is, if we weren't hot garbage on kicks for the past 10+ years, It would have felt much worse.

In no way, whatsoever, was I remotely surprised that it not only missed, but doinked off of the uprights.

I honestly lol'd when it happened just with the ridiculousness of what we have come to expect from field goal attempts.

If Saban would leave the kickers alone we wouldn't be having this discussion. He gets in their heads and screws them up.

The guy simply is a terrible kicker. He and Mac Jones were put into tough situations because of our injury luck. Sums up our season. Hopefully Reichard stays healthy all season in 2020.

He doesn't. I think the media pressure gets to our guys as much as anything.

Should have never come down to a kick anyway. The whole team was a disaster last night not just 97.

Maybe if the rest of the team wouldn't commit 13 penalties and the defense didn't give up 34 goddamn points to an otherwise pathetic excuse for an offense, he wouldn't have had to make the kick. Players are gonna mess up occasionally. This was a total team failure (even the offense, and kinda the special teams, but especially that horseshite excuse for a defense).

Defense deserves 60% of blame, 30% offensive penalties and a couple terrible and/or unlucky plays by Mac, and 10% a couple of poor special teams plays, including the kick.

point is there's plenty of blame to go around. When that's the case, point the finger at coaches, not players.

I think we are 100% in agreement.
