© Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports
Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M hold the No. 1 overall recruiting class in the nation with seven five-star and 18 four-star recruits in 2022. A message board rumor reported that Aggies boosters spent somewhere between $25-30 million to bring in that class. During an appearance on 247Sports’ National Signing Day show on Wednesday, Fisher blasted the notion and called these reports “irresponsible"...

A fool & his money…imagine throwing that much financial weight behind a coach who is a notorious waster of talent.

Jimbo: "We don't have a $30 million NIL fund!" A&M Recruits: "Wait, what?"

It is legal. Why is he so ashamed? Why can’t he admit the obvious?

Notice how there aren’t any A&M fans defending him in the comments? Even they know he’s lying through his fricking teeth

Guess what? Some Coaches are going to learn that no matter how much NIL money recruits are paid to go to their college, the caliber of the coaches will eventually determine who loses or wins.

Also threatened to tell what other coaches did in the past. SMH, coming from a former coach of Free Shoes University.

This may be the end of Aggie football when the millions fail to produce because you can’t carve dead wood.

This is exactly what NIL was meant to do…just get the kids a little money for their likeness…to the tune of $30 million, right?????

So after losing 4 or more games 5 out of the last 6 seasons, Jimbo is the hot coach to play for? It’s purely a coincidence that this happened the first year of recruiting with NIL

Yes Jim, it was all you and your staff. Those epic 8-4 seasons, losing to ho hum LSU and MSU teams, living in a town where corndogs are considered a delicacy and Miller light is good beer. Oh yes, it was all your recruiting skills.

So you're saying your coaches didn't work that hard in the years prior. And that they and you never worked that hard at any of their previous coaching stops as well. Because suddenly the year the NIL starts and you're the football team at a school thats well known to have one of it not the wealthiest boosters in history. You just coincidentally produce the top ranked recruiting class in the history of college football. Seems completely plausible skipper.
