It’s a commie sport. If you’re good enough to beat your defender you aren’t allowed. Image Chase running a go route, burning the DB and having to stop and wait on him to catch up before he can score.

Ja’Marr has to start each route behind the LOS. Football doesn’t let you beat your defender before the snap; soccer won’t let you do it before the pass is struck.

If they want to make it watchable then remove the goalie. High scoring games would be fun and exciting to watch. Of course some other rules would need to be adjusted but how much fun would basketball be to watch if there was a goalie?

Soccer fans deserve a second league similar to the XFL. MLS has gotten lazy because of their overwhelming success and have stopped caring about the average fan. The new league could introduce innovative rules like a game clock and scoring.
