Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski told 97.5 The Fan in Philly that he wouldn’t be happy about Alabama head coach Nick Saban returning to the NFL.
quote:

“I’m not a Saban guy, because I don’t like liars, and I think he lied,” said Jaworski, via al.com. “I think he lied to the Miami Dolphins, and to the fans of Miami, and he left. And it’s pretty simple, I think integrity is very important, if you don’t have integrity, I don’t know how you can be successful. Yeah, I know he’s great at Alabama, and he’ll probably win another national championship, but I just don’t like people that don’t have integrity, so it’s pretty easy for me to say I don’t want Nick Saban in town.”

He'll say this crap about Saban, then talk about Goodell like he's a credible guy.

Jaws is an idiot. That means every coach who has ever left a job for another has no integrity, because they all say they are never going anywhere

Legendary coaches don't become legendary by "being a nice guy".

There is a reason why good guys finish last. They don't know when to lie.

When a news reporter asks you a question that could harm you or people close to you, what are you to do. A harmless lie to protect yourself or others around you is not immoral.

Not alerting the public that you are in private discussions that could lead you away from your present employer is not wrong. Saban did not harm LSU or Miami.

The owner of the Dolphins asked Saban to break his contract with LSU. Why is breaking his contract with the Dolphins wrong when leaving LSU was ok?

Furthermore, LSU breaks its contract with coaches on a regular basis, which is normal business in the coaching profession.

I like Jaworski, but he is simply wrong on this one.

Sabins an a-hole. Like him or not he's a winner. But he is still an a-hole and a liar. I put stock in the character of a man and from my personal dealings with Les Miles I'll take him over the blowed dry king any day.

Saban told his players and LSU not to worry, he wasnt going anywhere. Then he jumped ship and LSU had to hurry to find another coach. It put LSU in turmoil and we could have lost our recruits and hurt the program in a major way. luckily we got Miles quickly and he was able to retain most of our recruits. I dont have a problem with Saban leaving LSU, just how he left!!
