Yeah, the SEC really isn't ready for the teasippers to take over the conference for their own benefit like they have verywhere else.

He is the AD of a university desperate for national titles which also has unlimited funds of some desperate donors. That does not make him a good AD, that makes him a lucky AD.

Did he form and complete a single successful sentence in that entire interview?

Honestly should make you all feel inspired to know that you don’t have to be a very sharp cookie and you could still end up running one of the biggest athletic departments on the planet.

I've been to several TX-OU games. They're fun, even for people who aren't fans of either team, but the best rivalry in the conference? That's a negative. The only thing he's right about is that it's the newest in the conference.

I went to UT for grad school. Like you said, it's fun, but it can't touch the crowd and noise at LSU/Bama or even LSU/Auburn or LSU/Florida.

Well that’s to be expected. Half the stadium is in orange and half the stadium is in red.

In the big 12 you thought you were special, but in the sec you’re just another date on the calendar. This transition looks like it’s gonna be pretty difficult for a lot of these folks.

UT may win 5 and Oklahoma 6 SEC games this year. They will spend the next 2 - 3 years "building" for the level of SEC competition. The UT President will be at a Division 3 school by 2026.

Texas will be the new Alabama. They have more talent than anyone and no SEC school can compete with their NIL collectives.

You'll have to explain to us how - since Texas has "more than talent than anyone" - that TCU managed to make the CFP before UT has.

They've had more talent for 50 years and have 1 national title. They have had more talent than anyone and won a total of 3 Big 12 titles.
