SEC AD Responds To ACC/Big Ten/Pac-12 ‘Alliance’ Report
© Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports
Apparently, the other football conferences are pouting about Oklahoma and Texas moving to the SEC, so there's a recent report that the ACC, Big Ten, and Pac-12 are in discussions about a potential conference “alliance”...
quote:

“Commissioners George Kliavkoff (Pac-12), Kevin Warren (Big Ten) and Jim Phillips (ACC) have been in regular communication, and have also had some in-person discussions,” ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg wrote. “Kliavkoff and Warren were together this week for Rose Bowl meetings. Pac-12 sources said all three commissioners met last week in Chicago.”
So what's SEC athletic director Greg Sankey's response to this?... (The Spun)

Guys, quit ragging on Larry for calling him the SEC AD. He certainly would have never been able to spell "commissioner" and he wisely punted.

So when did the SEC have an "athletic director"? I thought he was the commissioner and what else besides sports does the SEC govern?

Realignment was about Utx and Notre Dame. SEC got Utx and ACC got Notre Dame. Not sure the ACC will play ball with B1G and PAC

I assume this quote was from and SEC school AD, you know since Larry just made up a position that doesn't exist.

Greg Sankey is the commissioner not the "SEC athletic director". He is also not the one who gave the quote from the tweet.

No talk of BIG12…. Likely no more BIG12 after this season. Those in the BIG12 not named Oklahoma or Texas had better be looking for a new landing spot or they will end up in a mid major conference.

Ain't this the truth, or maybe the Big 12 can poach Sunbelt powerhouse "Louisiana" and perhaps pluck LTU from whatever conference they're in this week.
