So, the elitist University of 1 title in the last 50 years Texas Longhorns, are scurrying off to a conference full of fans that they routinely dismiss as ignorant, backwards and who have nothing else to do but watch college football because they live in podunk towns? Have fun at Tiger Stadium. Have fun at Bryant Denny. They can't even handle a horns down. Wait until they experience Gainesville Jean short wearers at the Swamp.

No way they play 5 more seasons in a defunct conference, but until then I hope Tcu, Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Iowa State etc shove it down the horns throat.

Texas can eat a dick and play as a independent.

For 2 programs that have forever hated each other, they are certainly in lock step.

Just because they hate each other doesn't mean they cannot coordinate their moves with each other. Plus they are using the same law firm IIRC.

Without bringing OU in, Texas wouldn't get the needed votes.

It won't take that long. This is the first step of the process. Look for this to be the last season in the Big 12 for both of them.
