Says Top 25 then uses Top 50 results. Why? Because Pitt didn't play any. ALL of Bama's 25 results were against Top 25. Actually Top 16.

What a POS. He spits out one stat that makes Pitt look amazing vs Alabama yet when you look at the big picture, Pitt sucked against everyone else.

It's hilarious how some get caught up in his shtick. He is and has been a paid heel for hire. He offers no insight or analysis worth listening to at any level. Surprised he is still employed. He was a decent athlete in the good nor great range (~60% passer in college, never over 3k yds, lived in Ward's shadow and ended with ALMOST half as many INTs as TDs. Surprised he made an NFL roster. He had the same mediocre baseball success. Drafted and never really did anything. .237 hitter. Good NOT GREAT is Danny Kanell in the sports world. His media career was just short of that and why he was first on the ESPN cut line in the 2017 blood letting. He took his same "heel" routine to FOX and a radio show no one has ever heard. His only existence is from snippets meant for click bait sensationalism like this "article." Maybe he can parlay it all into a career as a manager of a "bad guy" on whater the WWF is nowadays. He could have a whole anti-SeC /southerners persona. It literally couldn't be worse than any of his failed/failing/average careers.

Pitt was 23-20 overall and 16-17 in ACC play. Pitt played just three teams ranked in final NCAA Top 25 -- Notre Dame (7), North Carolina State (16) and Florida State (23) and finished 4-5 against them. Bama was 31-24 overall and 12-17 in the SEC. Fifteen of those conference losses were against six teams ranked in the top 13 in the nation -- Arkansas (1), Vanderbilt (3), Tennessee (4), Mississippi State (8), Ole Miss (12) and Florida (13). Baseball America had Alabama ranked 31, Pittsburgh 50. Bama deserved a place in the NCAA playoffs, Pittsburgh didn't.

He’s the paid antagonist, and probably laughs at all the responses to the shite he stirs.

Not to be a nit-picky guy, but no one says “College Baseball World Series”. Just college World Series or CWS

Who wants to bet the 25 ranked teams Bama played were a whole helluva lot better than the 29 Pitt played? Let's put Pitt in the SEC and see how they fair.

You could pull out a single stat with almost any team and make an argument.

How did his ESPN career go for him?

He’s so stinking mad and eat up with SEC he can’t stand it. Hair-trigger Kanell! Just say SEC around him and watch him turn into a 3 year old pitching a whiney temper tantrum. It’s hilarious and embarrassing for him.

He is right about Q1. He left off Pitts 50 RPI because of their shitty 1-7 record vs Quad 2’s. Bama was 6-2 vs Q2’s. They were at a 33 RPI.
