The biggest weakness is CJ Allen. He's still young, and teams have had success scheming against him in the run game. They take advantage of his aggression with misdirection and cut-back lanes to get big, chunk plays.

Unless we see Pop, he's going to have to play more within himself and fill his role without the (admittedly few for a freshman) mental lapses that have cost the team.

Otherwise, it's nerves and protection. If they stay settled, stay focused, and correctly execute the game-plan these young Dawgs will win. I'm quite confident in that.

Is there a chance at getting Dumas-Johnson back for this week?

I think the answer is NO since Kirby said the fracture was in a bad spot to where a club won't make a difference

Also, I feel like there would be a "swell" of info coming out that he has been seen practicing

Our defense setting the edge and having a spy to keep Milroe in check.

Bama is going to score. I am holding out zero hope for our D to suddenly go gangbusters and shut them down. Our LBs just aren't experienced enough to have the sort of impact we're used to seeing from the position.

That said, if it's a shootout, we'll win. We don't need consistent stops from our D, just force one less punt than Bama does us.

Turnovers are what we worry me. A turnover, one way or the other, can turn this game on a dime into one team's favor.

Has anyone seen someone do a deep dive on how many of our INTs given up have come from deflected/missed catches where the defender pulls it down after a bounce off the receiver's hands?

Seems like a lot have come that way, just off memory.

Officiating is always my biggest worry. Win or lose I don't want to see an outcome determined by bad calls. Go Dawgs!

Dallas Turner head hunting Beck

This specifically has been on my mind for a couple of weeks as a key thing that could cost us the game.

We’re a better team than Bama; we execute at the high level we’re capable of, and don’t turn the ball over, we win.

I think we will know a lot if Bama gets called for holding at a key point in the first half or if we get called for PI on an early contested deep ball. Will tell you if we have to overcome the refs again.

5) Alabama recovers a Mekhi Mews muffed punt. Mews already has either 4 or 5 this season.

4) Alabama goes up 7-0 just like every other team we've played in the last 2 months.

3) Milroe runs for 100 something yards

2) Dumas-Johnson doesn't play and we have some freshmen inside linebackers fricking up over and over.

1) Beck gets hurt.

Our DBs covering those deep Milroe lasers.

Our WRs and TEs being all being healthy.
Officials allowing late hits on Beck.

I was in the hospital last week and watched the game there. Glad to be home and here again.

This one too definitely!

Another slow start, it will be harder to comeback on Bama then anyone else we fell behind to.

I don't expect to see Mews returning punts. I think Kirby will let Dillan Bell handle those.

The negative sentiment of our fanbase.

We have won 29 in a row. 6th SEC East Championship in a row.

We are the top dog.

Have some kahunas.

Does Beck get a curtain call in the 4th or does Kirby make him play until the mercy knees?

That we are playing a game that can do nothing but possibly bump us out and hurt our players when other teams get to sit at home..

Their defense. Will be Beck's toughest challenge.

Yep, inability to defend the perimeter. That’s our Achilles heel.
